Top 5 Travel and Local Apps on Android in Kenya - Q1 2022

During the first quarter of 2022, the top travel and local apps on the Android platform in Kenya showed varied performance trends. Here's a closer look at the weekly downloads, revenue, and active users for the top 5 apps:

Find my Phone - Family Locator from FAMILY LOCATOR LLC saw a fluctuating trend in weekly revenue, peaking at around $432 in the first week of January and gradually declining to $206 by the end of March. Weekly downloads experienced a significant drop from 4.5K at the end of December to just 422 by late March. Active users also saw a decline from 4.5K to 2.6K over the same period.

GPS Navigation Live Map Road by Map Zone Studio did not generate any revenue throughout the quarter. However, weekly downloads peaked at 4.5K in early February before dropping to 1.2K by late March. Active users showed a similar trend, increasing to 5.7K in early February and then decreasing to 2.9K by the end of the quarter.

Google Earth from Google LLC reported no revenue during this period. Weekly downloads fell from 2.5K at the end of December to just 639 by late March. Despite this, active users remained relatively stable, starting at 13.9K and ending at 10.3K.

Weekly downloads decreased significantly from 2.1K at the end of December to 466 by late March. However, active users showed resilience, fluctuating between 16.3K and 22K, ending the quarter with 16.8K.
